Arrived home on Saturday after an idyllic few days touring the Western Highlands. OK – I know that is not far from home, and though the campervan only used one tank of diesel, it still seemed a long way. We reached the far west coast of Skye and found the most marvellous beach and nearly wild campsite at Glenbrittle at the foot of the Black Cuillins. Misty enjoyed running free on the beaches and relished sleeping in my bed overnight. (On my pillow to be exact!)
The weather whilst we were away was summer sunshine and today it is gentle rain – ideal for catching up on paperclog. And Yes – to all those non-retirees, there is still paperwork to do even now. My next preaching engagement is not until the first Sunday in June (Pentecost) so there is plenty of time to relax into home again.
