The last time we camped at Arisaig, one of the four sons (which one will be nameless!) had an unhappy ten minutes making his way across the sands at low tide wailing at the worm casts. And Yes – the campervan really was moored with that view out of the window.

Beaches can be terrifying places…
My daughter (who shall remain nameless) screamed when she saw jellyfish for the first time… she still doesn’t like them…
I’m not too keen on jellyfish myself, but beaches are very much part of my history. Looking back at old photographs I am often struck at how often we took the boys (and dogs) there. Not so easy from Dalamory though we have a pebble beach at the river here.
