The Queen Mother

Have just finished the Hugo Vickers biography of the Queen Mother. It was a compelling read, though I am left with a sense of otherness about a life lived in such privilege and duty. What it does show, is that each of us needs a purpose in life, though for many people it is about earning a living to make ends meet. Anyway, I heartily recommend the book for anyone who is interested in famous lives.
