Off to hospital today for some unmentionable tests. Just routine (and precautionary) to them…..not like that for me. Still, as I have said before, we are well served with our medical care in this rural region.

Thoughts and prayers go with you Freda.
Fingers crossed, Freda.
We all of us fear the “what if…” scenario. Most of the time it turns out to be OK, but we always seem to concentrate on the bad things that *could* happen.
As we get older we become more aware of our mortality, things that used to work, don’t work so well. But that shouldn’t mean we let it get in the way of living life.
Carpe diem. Enjoy those around you. Enjoy the space around you.
Fill your life with light. Light banishes the fear of the dark spaces.
I will indeed “seize the day” thank you. All is well with the tests – same as last time, so I can eat, drink and be merry and to hang with diverticular disease!
I’m glad to hear the news that the tests are OK.
And I also like the philosophy of “eat, drink and be merry”!
Take care,
