Yesterday was the summer solstice and therefore the longest day. Dalamory must have been one of the warmest places in Scotland as well: 24.5C and mainly sunny. When we moved here people gave dire warnings of the dreadful weather, but so far we have been pleasantly surprised, particularly with the summers. All is lush and green in the garden, courtesy of the recent sudden but brief showers and apart from the midgies, it could not be bettered.
