As it had been specially brought up from the deep south, the salesman looked rather worried at my reaction. Women readers will understand. And how pompous does it sound when you’re meeting somebody and say, “Oh yes and I’ll be driving the metallic papyras car!”
Actually the colour is more goldy than it shows on the picture, so I intend to say “I have a gold car” – it is all in the eye of the beholder anyway!
