We are so sorry to hear about the shop and the hint of pain that lies behind the closure. It’s a small world, the lady’s grandmother is a memebr of our church here on the Costa del Sol and was one of our lunch guests yesterday. I wonder if she knows yet.
Apparently there was talk of there being some kind of community buyout the last time the shop was vacant. But it is a very big commitment. For any individual buying it, I would guess the financial rewards are not very big. But, we will keep on hoping and praying, not least for the hardship that appears to have caused it.
ouch, that is tough.
I hope someone can take over the local shop soon.
