Sat in church yesterday and listened to a long and complex edict or two. What it means is that our congregation is well on the way to getting a new minister. Hopefully it will all work out. The local church people have done very well at turning up and making others feel welcome, but it is true to say that a focus for leadership makes a considerable difference. If I could explain why I would be writing a book on church structures and the future of rural churches in Scotland.
