Response: 1] Woodpeckers are the most amazing birds – you never see them arrive or depart but while there they are fascinating to watch; 2] we tried salmon steaks for the first time on the BBQ – to be recommended; 3] being in the east (and no mountains) I really miss the beautiful Scottish sunsets, mind you the sunrises tend to make up for them.
