There are two horses here at the Good Life farm: one is a large grey called Ellie and the other, strictly speaking is a brown pony called Bee. The pony has to be constantly restrained by an electric fence, otherwise she eats too much. But Ellie has a better trick. She lies flat out on her side: the game is that the horseminders have to shout “Ellie are you alive?” Then she raises her head and everybody can breathe again.
