Have just finished reading Sepulchre by Kate Mosse. The library volume was a tome of a hardback some 540 pages long. It must have taken me till page 200 to get really hooked – and I had to read the first 100 pages twice. This was to get the time shifts and characters sorted out in my mind. However, it was well worth it. Most of the action is set near Carcassonne in the South of France – a favourite holiday spot.
Mosse creates intrigue with her two mystery stories which intermingle. She has created believable characters in both Victorian and modern times. In the end the book becomes a page-turner. If you like puzzles you will love this book.
Hello Freda,
Been quite awhile since I stopped by your blog. It was wonderful to read back through several weeks of your posts. I always feel encouraged and refreshed after a visit.
Blessings to you from Costa Rica
Thanks, Kathie – a lovely thought to have blessings from such a long way away. Peace and joy to you.
