Dancing at Lughnasa and downfalls

Watched two excellent programmes on the TV last night: Dancing at Lughnasa – a film; and The Downfall of Margaret – a drama documentary on the demise of Margaret Thatcher. One was fey and sad and beautiful and the other was scary. No prizes for working out which was which.

I couldn’t watch drama about that woman i lived through the real thing and that was bad enough without re-visiting it for entertainment

Graham, I have to admit it was hard to watch – Mrs Thatcher seemed to deem it necessary to act like a bullying, hectoring schoolteacher. Apologies to teachers.
