In Dalamory life, getting spectacles constitutes a Day Out.
Misty is always ready and waiting – as soon as the campervan door opens.
Morning coffee and a walk by the shore:
And the chance to view the moody sky and fallen trees.
That’s my kind of shopping…..
Such a lovely outing! And such a happy little traveling companion! My visit to the dentist today wasn’t anywhere near as picturesque. All is good, though, unless I get a call that the yearly x-ray shows some kind of problem.
A very nice day out. Next time I’ll come.
Your NHS post is so very much up my alley that I feel I must comment belatedly. For the past 25 years I have had more than my fair share of NHS attention and I can tell you, from personal experience, that nursing care has gone right down the pan in these years. I have anecdotes that would make your hair curl, not second-hand, but from my own observations. I have been seriously ill a number of times, but never ill enough not to have my wits about me. Careless nursing, inattention, neglectful nursing and downright stupid nursing, I have experienced them all. Mainly on others, because I am the one who complains and calls nurses to task, and to hell with the consequences. In one instance nursing neglect very nearly resulted in the death of a young girl from France. No exaggeration. I actually offered the family an eye witness account.
I am very appreciative of the NHS, I have every reason to be grateful, but things need to change.
If you need help ranting, feel free to call on me.
About the shower thing: why would anyone want more than one shower a day? Unless they work in a coal mine? (I sometimes don’t have one at all!) And what’s so difficult about getting dressed? It takes me all of three minutes: underwear, socks, jeans, jumper. Finished.
That is what I call ‘an away day!’
I know Misty is a clever little thing, but you really shouldn’t let her drive.
Misty is adorable! My Jazmyn does the same thing when she is out and able to follow me to the car, she is ready to go, thank you very much!
Idyllic!

How beautiful Dalamory is!
And to think I will be seeing your scenery next spring! I am very excited about that and to see you too. Gorgeous spectacles you have captured there.
