It is Misty’s birthday today; she is 6 years old. Yes, we did sing Happy Birthday to her and she enjoyed it very much. She gives us enormous pleasure and devotion and makes us laugh constantly. This is a photo of her not long after she came to live with us.

Nothing wrong with singing Happy Birthday to a dog, just watch out for the day she starts to sing it on your birthday.

Oh I love the puppy photos. Misty is almost the same age as our little Clare. She will be 7 next year, I think. I always ask the vet how old she is. I am even worse with my own kids. Must be old age. Anyway, Happy Birthday Misty. Dianne

I have just seen the latest posting on the maternal P. Blog and have to say I am more than a little embarrassed.
I am no longer that scruffy little pup – I am most definitely a stylish little Cairn. I do so hope that another posting will appear shortly to show me in my sophisticated beauty. I now have my own beautician, I have a high class wardrobe, indeed I am what could be called a sophisticate within my breed.
