Update

Several people have asked for an update on the state of my face, one even suggested a photo. To be honest, I tried another photo but it didn’t look so very different – the large splodge of yellow tends to disappear into the rest of my face.

It has of necessity been a quiet week. After the endorphins of last weekend wore off, I found myself washed out and suffering from LOLS. Fortunately, I had an absorbing book on the go by a new author I’ve found recently – Tasmina Perry – a bit like Penny Vincenzi’s  sagas in the world of big business. So when I’ve not been reading, I’ve been dozing.

The wake-up call is Dance Class.
LOLS = Little Old Lady Syndrome.
And I am slowly getting my sense of humour back.

I had to read earlier posts to find out what has been going on with you. Ack. That fall was scary. I am just beginning to catch up on posts but evidently your recent ones haven’t been showing up on my dashboard. Any other time I would have checked before this but August has been a mix of vacationing in the land of no Internet and brief or no sessions on our computers. All that is to say I am so sorry you have been through all that but glad you are recovered enough to even think about dance class!

HI Freda. I understand about falls, and guys have them too. David finally got his glasses repaired after his fall down the stairs and face landing. Then he fell outside and busted the skin on his elbow….again. Came in the house with a bloody shirt. What a mess. Happy to hear you are recovering. Dianne

Oh, my goodness! I’ve been lax about reading for a couple weeks with much on my plate, and like LC, I had to back up to figure it out. I’m so please that you weren’t more seriously injured, dear lady!

Take care of yourself and heal, heal, heal. Prayers heading up as I write, and I’m sending healing energy in your direction, too. 🙂

A good book is a wonderful distraction from the bumps and jolts of life, literal and metaphorical. Times have been a bit difficult out my way too, and I have been going through the novels of Elizabeth Taylor. I’m stuck now though, because I’m in a place in the one I’m reading where I feel something terrible is about to happen and I don’t want to find out.

I hope the dance class does the trick. I, too, suffer the LOLS.
