I would like to live
like a river flows.
carried by the surprise
of its own unfolding.
John O’Donohue
A flowing river always reminds me of …..
I chatter, chatter as I flow
To join the brimming river
Men may come
And men may go
But I go on for ever.
Think it is from Tennyson’s Babbling Brook but it was the first lines of poetry I ever learned as I was told that is what I did.
