Good watching

It is a while since I have recommended a film. Last night I watched Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in The Bucket List. It has all the right ingredients as far as I am concerned: what makes life worthwhile; a question of faith; living life to the full …. and so forth. It happens to be about two men who have a terminal diagnosis. Come to think of it we all have a terminal diagnosis…….. only most of us don’t get to know when or where we will die. So that makes the film all the more poignant.

Oh and by the way – it is a very funny film too.

I loved it too, Freda. Son #2 and I never watch the same movies but he did watch this one because of the stars and loved it too. A rare event. And we are going to do it with our Film Group next month.

I’ll add it to my list.

I recently enjoyed “A Good Year” which I think was one of your recommendations not long ago.

There is nothing quite like a good film to take you out of yourself.

Thanks for the recommendation – I hadn’t picked this up anywhere else, but ‘the Bucket List’is now added to my dvd rental list.
