Going to the dentist today – the first time I will have been out of the house for three weeks. I am hoping to be able to keep from coughing long enough for some remedial work to be done on the broken tooth. Funny how being unwell makes you prioritise things strictly. But it does make me think about all the hundreds of thousands of people who live life as “shut-ins” they never get out of the house at all. So I shall be thinking of them as I enjoy my car ride to the big town.
