The Christmas cards have to be done soon. Cards have started to arrive in the post each day. I enjoy seeing those few words from friends I often don’t hear of very much throughout the year. That’s the thing with getting older – you tend to collect people. I am also thinking of when to put out the nativity set. This year there is also the problem of where to put the tree – an extra bookcase is to blame for this.
And so, the countdown begins. The secret is to take things steadily. I know it is much harder for people with busy jobs; they will get added to the prayer list!

I don’t have to worry about when to put the Nativity set out – we haven’t put it away. It is just so beautiful and I decided I needed reminding of it daily so it sits in the hall in full view 365 days of the year.
