Cuckoo heard on 1st May, sand martins spotted on 3rd May. Where are the swallows?
A walk by the river
Spotted today on the walk by the river: two oyster catchers, a crested duck taking off and lots of sand martings. Plus the villain of the skies and fields just now – a hoody crow.
